Ayla Stackhouse

Somebody Who Loves Me

Ayla  wrote “Somebody Who Loves Me,” using her signature pink guitar. Her inspiration came from reading the book “The Last Song.”  The book was written for Miley Cyrus to bring to the big screen. “It’s a story about a dark ‘emo’ girl whose father taught her to be this amazing pianist," Ayla said, "but when her parents split up, she decides she never wants to play again. That is until she meets a boy who changes everything for her. Then she breaks through and blossoms. I loved the book."

The Girl Next Door

This version of "The Girl Next Door" was produced by Toddy Winfrey when Ayla was 12 years old.

The song showcases her R&B vocals, yet another aspect of the rising yount star's unlimited talent.
